Trainee Programs

Join one of our challenging trainee programs for recent graduates. Our 12-month program offers you the opportunity to work in different departments, such as Chartering, Traffic, and Trading as well as to experience diverse work cultures and job assignments. 

The trainee program will allow you to experience the dynamic, international, and challenging environment of international commodities trading and will provide you with the opportunity to participate in daily business interactions. The trainee program will also strengthen your network of contacts in the industry to assist you in your future career.

Hiring Process

Application

  • Submit your résumé and application documents (i.e. certificates and diplomas) in PDF  or Microsoft Word format. If you have more than one document for upload, please compress them in a zip-format file.
  • All applications should be submitted in English. 

Contact by Human Resources 

If you qualify for one of our positions, someone from our Human Resources department may contact you to find out more about your work experience and career goals and to set up an interview.  

Phone interview

For pre-screening purposes, we may contact you for a phone interview. The phone interview assesses your role-related skills and proficiency to determine whether we are interested in having you meet with us for an on-site interview. A phone interview typically takes about 30 minutes.

On-site interview

Our on-site interview process evaluates your core skills and capabilities to see if you fulfill the requirements of the position. Interviewers will ask you questions related to your previous work experience and career aspirations.

Second Interview / Decision

After the interview, we will determine if you are suited for the desired position. Please be patient with us as it may take some time for us to make our decision. Sometimes we may feel the need to ask you to meet with us for an additional interview.
