Trammo Bulk Carriers, a member of Trammo’s Commodities Division, commenced merchandising and trading freight in January 2010 as TA Bulk Carriers (TABC) and quickly established itself as a recognized freight operator in the dry bulk segment. Since its inception, Trammo Bulk Carriers has transported approximately 17.8 million metric tons of cargo, mainly fertilizers and grains.

Based in Zurich, Trammo Bulk Carriers operates a fleet of close to 20 modern handysize and supramax bulk carriers. It trades worldwide and provides its customers with flexible transportation solutions and competitive freighting. The company’s primary focus is on the handysize market (typically 25,000 to 35,000 metric tons deadweight), servicing the Atlantic basin.

In a joint-venture with a large ship owner, Trammo owns an equity interest in three newly built vessels, m/v Trammo Stanton, m/v Trammo Baumann and m/v Trammo Independent. All three vessels are new eco-type handysize ships that fulfill the latest and future environmental standards.

Trammo Bulk Carriers works independently from the other chartering activities within the Group and benefits from a strong balance sheet, as well as an extensive in-house cargo portfolio.

Trammo Bulk Carriers intends to further expand its operations with a continued focus on delivering high-quality reliable service to support and benefit its customers worldwide.
